Confidentiality and professional standards

Confidentiality is an important part of counselling. What you share with me is treated with care, respect and discretion.

However, there may be circumstances in which information needs to be disclosed for safety or legal reasons. I will explain the limits of confidentiality clearly before we begin working together so that you can make an informed decision about counselling.

I receive regular supervision and continue to develop my practice through ongoing learning and training. I also engage in personal reflection and development, as I believe responsible counselling requires continued self-awareness as well as professional knowledge.

I am a member of the Bulgarian Psychological Society. My business is registered in accordance with Luxembourg requirements, business permit N° 10127000 / 1.

Please note

I offer counselling and psychology-informed emotional support. My service is not medical or psychiatric treatment and I do not practise as a psychotherapist under Luxembourg's regulated psychotherapy framework.

I do not prescribe medication or provide psychiatric treatment. Counselling with me is not reimbursed by the CNS.

There may be situations in which counselling with me is not the most appropriate form of support, or where it would be helpful alongside another service. If this becomes apparent during our work, I will discuss it openly with you and can help you identify an appropriate professional or service, such as a doctor, psychotherapist, psychiatrist or specialist organisation.

My service is not an emergency or crisis service.

If you are in immediate danger, at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or require urgent medical or psychiatric care, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Counselling with me is best suited to people looking for a supportive and reflective process in which they can better understand what they are experiencing, develop ways of coping and consider meaningful changes in their lives.
