About me

Hi, I'm Siyana

Hi, my name is Siyana. Having lived in different countries and worked in the corporate world for the past decade, I have come to understand some of the complexities of building a life in a busy and demanding world, especially when it comes to identity and belonging, adapting to change, and navigating pressure and uncertainty.

I hold an MSc in Psychology from the UK, accredited by the British Psychological Society and recognised by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research. I have also trained as a counsellor with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and gained practical experience supporting people through my work with a crisis helpline.

Working together

My approach

My way of working is down-to-earth, collaborative and focused on you: what you are experiencing, what matters to you, and what might be helpful at this point in your life.

I draw on evidence-informed counselling and psychological approaches while working with warmth, curiosity and respect for your individuality.

Most importantly, I want our work to be based on a relationship in which you can feel heard, respected and able to be honest about what is happening for you.

Areas I can support with

What I can help with

I work primarily with adults experiencing difficulties such as:

  • stress and emotional overwhelm
  • burnout and work-related exhaustion
  • anxiety, tension or feeling constantly on edge
  • periods of low mood
  • grief and loss
  • major life transitions and periods of uncertainty
  • relationship and family difficulties
  • difficulties with focus, motivation or direction
  • self-doubt, pressure and persistent self-criticism
  • identity and belonging
  • adapting to a new country, culture or stage of life

You do not need to know exactly what is wrong or arrive with a clear goal for counselling. Understanding what you need can itself be part of the process.
